The donkey loaded with medals refers to an action that the artist Paz Muro carried out in 1975. She climbed on a donkey decked out as if she were a heroine and rode through the streets of the town while making a delivery of the medals she was carrying. In this way she made reference to the institutional decorations of the government to feminists of the postwar period, criticizing the falsity of these punctual recognitions, while in the day to day practices that perpetuate the repression of women within the patriarchal society continue to be established.
